From the backyard to the professional competitive BBQ circuits, Bub-Ba-Q has become one of the top Bar B Que teams in the country and he invites you to come and enjoy the food that has put him there. From what was once a dream has become a labor of love with a hometown family affair. We slow smoke all of our meats with a blend of hickory and fruit woods to bring you true southern Barbeque, and just in case you want to have some sauce on it, well we have that too, along with some of our homemade sides.
The casual atmosphere of the dining room makes you feel like you're at home, and the staff is there with a smile. So, when you get in the mood for some of the best BBQ in Atlanta and north Goergia, just head north and get some of the best hog in North Georgia.

Bubba had the distinct pleasure and honor of being selected to be profiled at the Festival Of Discovery in Greenwod SC on July 9-11, 2009 with the Food Network. It was quite an honor as he and 3 others were accompanied by film crews to highlight professional BBQ over a 3 day period.

It has been an exhausting year on the road, but a good one too. We made it back to the Jack with an automatic entry by winning 7 qualifying events. The Jack, considered the super bowl of BBQ, is an invitational event with teams from all over the qorld. This year 63 US teams and 18 international competed. After the smoked had cleared, Bub-Ba-Q came out 3rd place overall with a 33rd chicken, 9th ribs, 16th pork and a 2nd brisket. In a field of the best cooks from around the world, not bad at all.
The following weekend was the invitational Best of the Best with the top 50 teams in the country. Here again it was some stiff competition and when it was said and done, Bub-Ba-Q rose to the top. With a first place in the pork and brisket category, Bubba was named the Grand Champion.
